Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Welcome to Leh! Upon your arrival, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in, where you’ll be warmly welcomed. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, a perfect spot for sunset views over the city and surrounding landscapes. You can also stroll through the local market for souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley
After breakfast, set off for a scenic drive towards the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where you’ll be captivated by the views of the merging rivers. Visit the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by a stop at the unique Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Explore SECMOL (the school from the movie 3 Idiots) and the ancient Spituk Monastery before returning to Leh for the night.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Today, embark on an exciting drive to Nubra Valley. Cross the famed Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, and marvel at the spectacular views of the valley. On arrival, enjoy a thrilling ride on the unique double-humped camels in the desert. If time permits, visit the Diskit Monastery, known for its giant Buddha statue. Overnight stay at Nubra.
Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China border. The route offers jaw-dropping views of the changing landscapes. Spend the day soaking in the beauty of the shimmering lake, which changes color throughout the day. Enjoy the serene environment and stay overnight in comfortable camps near the lake.
Day 5: Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri Lake
This morning, head towards the tranquil Tso Moriri Lake, located in the Changthang region. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and striking beauty, the lake is also a sacred spot for the locals. Spend the day near the lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and vast landscapes. Overnight stay in camps or guesthouses near the lake.
Day 6: Drive from Tso Moriri to Leh
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh, passing through picturesque landscapes and remote villages that offer a glimpse into traditional Ladakhi life. Stop at scenic points along the way and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Once in Leh, visit the local market for souvenirs and savor some delicious Ladakhi cuisine. Overnight in Leh.
Day 7: Departure from Leh
After a refreshing breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Ladakh. You’ll be transferred to Leh Airport for your flight back home, carrying unforgettable memories of your Ladakhi adventure.
